Guest Reviews

My wife and I just stayed this weekend. The Carriage Inn is under new ownership. Rest assured that all the previous great reviews apply to the new owners. Jonathan and Yvonne go out of their way to make you feel at home. The breakfasts were amazing - like you are at a high end restaurant. Afternoon coffee/tea/snacks were delicious. Warm greetings when you walk in the door, comfy accommodations, perfect location, and a very fair price. Book it!
Absolutely fantastic - highly recommend!! Scott B, Tripadvisor
Jonathan and Yvonne are probably the best hosts you could ask for. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house. Breakfast was definitely 5 stars. The room was beautiful, clean and the perfect getaway. We were amazed by the entire experience. We'll be back. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to experience pampering

This was our 3rd visit and it was superb! From the moment we checked in until our departure we were treated like family. Yvonne and Jonathan are the best! We stay in the Robin's Nest and love the privacy and spaciousness of the room. The afternoon treats and gourmet breakfasts you'll not even find in 5 star hotels. We'll definitely return soon! Thank you Jonathan and Yvonne for your hospitality!!

Yvonne and Jonathan really helped make us feel welcome with their warmth and hospitality. My husband and I needed a quick getaway and this was just the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a great time wandering around the area as well as looking forward to the wonderful food: the breakfasts (from quiche to apple-stuffed French toast) were delicious and the afternoon snacks (chocolate chip cookies and apple cake) were delectable as well. Thank you, again!

On our last night of a 10 day vacation we decided to stay at the inn and were happy they had a vacancy. We had previously lived in the local area and had always admired the beautiful home. We are so happy we did! The inn is beautifully decorated for the time era and our room was spacious and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The owners and hosts Yvonne and Jon are wonderful people and helped make our stay very special. Breakfast was delicious and Yvonne’s homemade apple cake and blueberry muffins were so worth a splurge! Perfect way to end our vacation. We will be back!
